Murphy’s Community Centre is pleased to offer a School Age and Summer Camp Program under the direction of Patrick MacDonald.
This program is centrally located in the heart of historic Charlottetown and ensures that working parents are provided with quality year round child care for their school aged children (ages five to twelve).
Murphy’s School Age and Summer Day Camp programs are built to encourage growth of mind, body, and spirit. Any child who is registered with us will receive a well rounded, high quality program that promotes team play and encourages individual expression.
The Centre offers a full day program, 7:30am-6pm, during parent/teacher interview days, professional development days, storm days, Christmas break, March break and summer vacation.

The City of Charlottetown and Murphy's Community Centre have entered into an agreement to develop and operate a teen centre pilot project called the "Charlottetown Teen Zone" to be located at Murphy's Community Centre.
The objective of the teen centre is to help address the overall needs of Charlottetown youth ages 12 to 18 years old, through offering the necessary programs and services. Murphy's Community Centre will operate the "Charlottetown Teen Zone" with financial assistance from the City of Charlottetown, and advisory input from the Charlottetown Youth Advisory Board.
Hours of operation are Tuesday to Friday, 3-9pm & Saturday 1-7pm.

Multi-Sport Camp:Boys & Girls Ages 6-15, March 19-23 (9am-4pm)
Over the course of the week, kids will play ball hockey, soccer, volleyball, basketball, bowling and various other sports to keep them healthy and active.
Full Day Fees: Early Registration $99.99 (by March 9th, 2012), After March 9th, 2012 the registration fee is $110.00
Half Day Fee: $75.00
Soccer Camp: Boys & Girls Ages 6-15, March 19-23 (9am-4pm)
If your child already loves soccer or has a keen interest to learn more or improve, this program will be perfect for them! Technical sessions with the Soccer Program allows for the complete development of the player using "Futsal" as the key component, and adopting the skill learned through the "Coerver Series of Coaching".
Full Day Fees: Early Registration $115.00 (by March 9th, 2012); After March 9th, 2012 the registration fee is $130.00.

This is a great opportunity for boys and girls to get started insoccer! Children will learn the basic body movemnet exercises - jumping, running, hopping, hand eye coordination and balancing, all to provide the necessary tools to play soccer. By playing small soccer games and obstacle courses, kids experience the joy that physical fitness and soccer can provide.
