As the former Basilica Recreation Centre, the Murphy’s Community Centre, is pleased to continue to offer a wide range of programs and services for all age groups in downtown Charlottetown. Aside from bowling, our programs include seniors’ events, youth centre, children and youth sport programs, pre teen dances, a licensed child care centre and kindergarten program, a licensed after school program and summer day camp program, bingo and many special community events. The Community Centre also has a number of groups that utilize its space for their own programs such as the College of Piping, Taoist Tai Chi, youth and adult marital arts, yoga, meditation group, overeaters anonymous, emotions anonymous, CHANCES Family Centre drop in play program, youth outreach services, and youth showcase monthly performances.

Murphy’s Community Centre Bingo operates Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 7:15pm. A special beginner’s bingo package is available for $20. Satellite Bingo is available here. For details on nightly specials and prizes, call the Bingo Hotline Number at 892-0769.
