Benefit Dance & Silent Auction for Sandra (Morrow) Livingstone, who is need of a double lung transplant,will be held at Murphy’s Community Centre, Saturday, March 11th at 9pm. Doors open at 8pm and all 19 & over welcome. Music will be provided by Gordie Cox, DJ service, and tickets are $10.00 in advance and $12.00 at the door. Benefit Dance for Lynda Lamoureux, will be held at Murphy’s Community Centre, Saturday, March 25th at 7:30pm-1am. All 19 & over welcome. There will be a silent auction, gift baskets, and bake sale. Lynda Lamoureux is a 24 year old female who was the passenger on a motorcycle that was in an accident on October 4th, 2016. She was airlifted to Halifax  with internal injuries, and multiple fractures to her right leg, pubic bone and severe hemorrhaging which eventually resulted in her having the right leg and right side of her pelvis amputated. Lynda has a long recovery road of rehabilitation and physiotherapy and is currently seeking wheelchair accessible living for her and her 4 year old son Carter.
